Offshore supply vessels are equipped with pneumatic dry bulk handling and management systems from HW Carlsen. The dry bulk, e.g. cement, barite, bentonite, etc, is transported in pressure tanks (P-Tank) and unloaded on to the offshore drilling platforms.

The space on supply vessels is very limited requiring customised designs.

On supply vessels a dust control system creates a dust free work environment and complies with stringent environmental regulations. The dust control system equally recovers dry bulk materials resulting interesting cost savings.

The operating conditions for the supply vessel may vary dramatically and in turn the requiring a high degree of ruggedness and reliability from the dry bulk handling system.

HW Carlsen provides the design and engineering know-how. Manufacturing supervision, delivery, installing, commissioning and assisting during start-up are of course included in HW Carlsen services.
